MEET THE FOUNDER
“everyone has a story - I want your home to tell yours…”
Meet Susan - the Founder and Principal Designer at Eden and Laurel. Born in South India, raised on the West Coast, and educated in the UK, she brings a global sensibility and human-centric approach to her design process. A love of design and storytelling led her to film school where she finished her thesis in Production Design. Shortly after, she worked as a freelance Art Director and Set Designer for numerous Hollywood projects. Her career continued to larger studios such as DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures where she grew alongside some of the greatest artists plucked from around the globe.
Fast forward a decade, a graduate degree and career in creative management — a love for residential design and remodeling blossoms! Inspired by her travels and the need for a more sustainable future for all denizens of our planet, Susan started Eden & Laurel to create worldly, eco-centric and affordable interiors for her clients. These days, Susan focuses her attention on small to full-scale remodels in the Bay Area and throughout California.
